A get well gift basket will surely brighten any patient’s day. Whether they have a broken a limb, the flu or something more serious, there is a basket to suit any well wishing occasion. If they are able to eat what they like, re-route the terrible hospital food by sending them a gourmet selection of sweet, savory and fresh fruit delights. They may have trouble keeping it away from the nursing staff though! If eating is not a big priority right now, send a care package filled with a gorgeous fluffy, cuddly bear or animal with a goofy face, or some books and puzzles to pass the time, along with a little food that they can enjoy when they have fully recovered.
How about some soothing and pampering products to help them get feeling back to normal? Lavender, chamomile, green tea, cucumber and oatmeal pamper products are the best choices for soothing and calming and may even help the healing process. If they need a little re-invigorating, try a selection of ylang-ylang, geranium or lime essential oil-based products. If the patient is a child, why not send an adorable doctor or nurse bear complete with white coat and stethoscope or a brightly colored balloons and bear hamper to brighten up the sick room?
Throw in coloring pencils and books or a little handheld electronic game and the days will just fly by! Be sure to only include foods which are suitable for someone in a delicate condition - fruit is always a winner - you could send a selection of dried and fresh, and make sure that special dietary needs are taken care of too. Bringing a cheery smiling face to the hospital along with the get well gift basket will certainly brighten the patient’s day!
